My favorite Marie just won the "Best Machine Work" ribbon at the Sussex fair for the second year in a row!!
Can't post a picture, sorry. It is a wonderful piece. It took quite a bit of thought to quilt.
She also has a surprise for me in February............. hmm I wonder what it is?
Now I would head back to the workroom, but honestly, if Chef Ramsey was a quilter, he would say- "shut it down" today. I have a difficult piece on the frame. I don't like the direction it has taken and tomorrow is another day.
Never be afraid of ripping out stitches. Learn to listen to your inner voice. If it's not right you know it - stop - rethink. Listen quick is my best advice.
